She taught middle school and high school English for three years before transitioning out of the classroom and into the library. She decided to become a librarian out of a life long love for books. As a teenager she would spend hours volunteering in her school libraries and then hours reading to herself with all the books she brought home. She still enjoys reading as well curating educational resources and advocating for underserved students and fostering their personal growth. After years of working in the public education system, she is vehemently passionate about closing the gaps of achievement among minority students and teachers. She wishes to help other educators and students to understand how to achieve greatness in the midst of chaos and personal struggles.

After years of struggling with panic, anxiety, and perfectionism she understands what is like to struggle with difficult family cycles, want to be different but not have to tools necessary to elevate yourself, and not feel seen. Life coaching,to her, is about personal growth and evolution. She has chosen to start a career in life coaching so that she can help others, especially black women and girls to love themselves, to truly see themselves so that they can grow and evolve into the very best version of themselves.
