Saying Yes! Unloced…
So this is a quick blog to remind you to say yes to change. Say yes to the things in your life that are good for your growth, even if it hurts sometimes. We are all responsible for the circle that we create for ourselves. When I say circle I mean the people you allow into your space, your friends, family and loved ones. And despite what I have been taught my whole life, you can choose your family. You can pick and choose the people you allow to be in your circle of people you consider family. And if you are hurting and the person lying next to you and the people you consider family cannot help you then they are not your people. Your person is the one who is there with you when you are Oprah ugly crying. They are there for you when you are struggling and if the person you are with can see you struggling and they are not doing anything to offer any help to you, then that is not your person. That person is not for you, you are not for everybody and if they are not for you then they are against you. Do not let the fear of failure or the wondering of what will I do without this person stop you from moving forward in your own life. Everyone is not going to be happy for you. And sometimes you will lose people and they will hurt you along the way but just because you are hurt does not mean you are not alive. Yes! You are hurting but you are still living. And as long as there is breath in your body you have a purpose. There is a song by Marvin Sapp called Close, and in the song he talks about how when you are close to what God has for you, trials, troubles, jealousy, and envy finds their way into your life. And he is right, when you are on your way to greatness there is always something that presents itself that could possible take you off your path, but know that those things are just signs that your God given miracle is right around the corner. Those are tests. Run your race. Go through it. In the end you will look back and see those were just distractions. God has a plan for you. Wait. Live, lite, love. Be blessed. <3
